The next BMW motorcycle in India will be the BMW G310 RR
BMW has started pre-launch bookings for its next sports bike – BMW G310 RR in India. The BMW G310 RR will be based on Apache RR 310 and is expected to offer similar features to buyers. The company (BMW) had teased the launch of the G310 RR a few days earlier, and we are very happy to hear about this development.
The BMW G310 RR is expected to be launched in India on July 15 and deliveries of it will start soon after. BMW offers an attractive EMI of INR 3999 per month for the BMW G310 RR. BMW also offers a zero down payment and insurance and accessory finance option for the BMW G310 RR.
As for the engine, the bike is expected to have the same 312.2cc FI engine with a 6-speed gearbox. The liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine will deliver 34 hp at 9700 rpm. Maximum torque will be 27.3 Nm at 7700 rpm. The frame of the bike should be a trellis frame while maintaining the same subframe. The bike’s suspension should have a USD fork and monoshock, just like the Apache RR310. However, the bike can be fitted with an adjustable monoshock and a fully adjustable USD fork, just like the RR310 BTO (built to order). The brakes on the new G310 RR appear to be different from those on the RR310.
As for the features of the new motorcycle, the BMW G 310 RR will offer Bluetooth connectivity with TFT display. Different modes on the bike will include Rain, Urban, Sport and Track. The bike’s different riding modes will allow it to modulate performance according to the rider’s situation.
In terms of price, the new BMW bike is expected to cost more than the current BMW G 310 R and TVS Apache RR310 it will be based on. The BMW G310 RR is expected to cost around Rs 3 lakh when launched in India. As BMW will be teasing more information in the coming days, stay tuned for the latest updates.
